As Disney continues to remake its classics into living and breathing characters, the next movie slated for a remake won’t be getting the same treatment as “Beauty and the Beast.”

Niki Caro is set to bring everyone’s favorite Chinese heroine to life in a live-action remake of “Mulan,” which is scheduled to come out in fall 2018.

However, Caro told Moviefone that this version of “Mulan” would be dropping one of the best parts:  the songs.  Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” remake recently hit theaters and included all of the beloved songs from the animated original.

“Yes, from what I understand, no songs right now, much to the horror of my children,” Caro told Moviefone.

Caro said to Moviefone that her approach to the movie would be exciting.

“It will be extremely muscular and thrilling, and entertaining and moving,” she said.

While we will be losing some of the very best parts, “Mulan” should be a remake to watch out for.
