Pittsburgh Penguins Stanley Cup Playoffs 1st round series vs. Columbus Blue Jackets Game 1

Wed, April 12 7:30 p.m. PPG Paints Arena Ticket prices vary.  Buy here.  Students can get tickets via Student Rush.  

The real season starts for the Pens Wednesday night as they look to repeat as Stanley Cup champs.

Pens vs. Blue Jackets Game 2

Fri, April 14 7:00 p.m. PPG Paints Arena Prices vary. Buy here.  Students can get tickets via Student Rush.  

The game before the series shifts to Columbus.

Pens vs. Jackets Game 5*

Thu, April 20 TBD PPG Paints Arena Prices vary.  Students can get tickets via Student Rush.

If the series is tied 2-2 through 4 games, this will be crucial.

Tue, April 25 TBD PPG Paints Arena Prices vary.  Students can get tickets via Student Rush.

Hopefully it doesn’t come to this.

This is the last game of a six-game homestand.

WVU Blue-Gold Spring Football Game

Sat, April 15 Kickoff is at 1 p.m. Milan Puskar Stadium, Morgantown, WV Tickets cost $10 for the general public, but WVU students get in free.

This is the first chance for fans to see highly-touted Florida transfer QB Will Grier.  Coming off a 10-win season, WVU starts next season with a prime-time game Sept. 3 against rival Virginia Tech.

Pitt Blue-Gold Spring Football Game

Sat, April 15 Kickoff is at 1 p.m. Heinz Field Admission is free for everyone.

Among the storylines is QB competition after the graduation of Nathan Peterman.  USC graduate transfer Max Browne looks to be the early front-runner to replace Peterman.  

PSU Blue-White Spring Football Game

Sat, April 22 Kickoff is at 3 p.m. Beaver Stadium, State College, PA Admission to the game is free, but non-season ticket holders must pay $20 to park.

Both QB Trace McSorley and RB Saquon Barkley return from last year for the defending Big Ten champs.

Pirates vs. New York Yankees

Fri, April 21 7:05 p.m. PNC Park Tickets start at $25.

Friday is a Zambelli Fireworks Night.  This is the Yankees’ first trip to PNC Park since 2008.

Saturday is both a “Free Shirt Saturday” and a “Scratch’n Win Saturday.”  The first 20,000 fans get a free T-shirt.  The “Scratch’n Win” promotion is presented by Eat’n Park.
