ABC released a preview for its remake of the 1987 classic “Dirty Dancing.”
According to WPXI, the three-hour musical will hit the small screen next month.
The storyline follows the original film with Colt Prattes and Abigail Breslin taking on the lead roles of Frances “Baby” Houseman and Johnny Castle – which were originally portrayed by Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze.
WPXI reports that the remake will take a look at what happens after their summer romance and give a deeper look at the two characters in general.
The “Dirty Dancing” remake airs May 24.
